Mick Harvey - High Definition Screen Composer.

Multi instrumentalist, composer and arranger Mick Harvey is best know for the pivotal role he has played, together with Nick Cave, in creating some of the most original music of the last 25 years. From the Boys Next Door, through the Birthday Party to The Bad Seeds, Mick has provided the intricate and atmospheric arrangements that have brought life to Cave's lyrical narratives.

Since composing the scores to two German productions in 1987, the documentary "Identity Kid" and the TV drama "Totes Geld", Mick has built an impressive portfolio of film scores.

In 2002 Mick scored the acclaimed feature "Australian Rules" which marked the directorial debut of Paul Goldman and had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

"Chopper" was a major box office success in Australia and in several other territories and Mick's score earned him an AFI nomination for Best Original Music Score.
